Device hostname
-
Hi,
I've been asked to setup some device hardening for the sites we have Trackers at, I am looking to lock these down to Static IPs via reservation on our DHCP server. Are you able to provide me the hostname off all the devices we have?
Thanks

Stan WeaverHi, we dont collect that information but i can tell you the LAN IPs
Is this something that could help you ? -
Alright I was able to identify two of the devices out of the 5 we have. I'll see If I can get the remaining, as our DHCP server needs hostnames in order to do reservation.

The usual way is you let each device get an IP from the upstream DHCP server and as you see them, you note their MAC address and the agent ID. Then you can associate those together to know which agents are which.
