We’re making it easier to understand your monitoring results, see what needs attention, and decide where to look first. Here’s what’s available now and what we’re working on next. ISP Tracker Questions — Available Now You no longer have to dig through charts and measurements to understand your monitored results, simply ask a question. ISP Tracker Questions checks your selected agent’s recorded data and explains what it finds in plain language. Ask things like “Did my internet go down last night?” or “How were my speeds yesterday?” Include a day or time period when possible to help focus the answer. This feature is available on Extended agents’ dashboards. Before trying it, read the introduction for examples, tips, and what this early version can cover. Use Helpful / Not helpful and leave comments to help us improve it. Your Overview — Now Available When you log in, the new Overview menu item gives you a short summary of how your monitored assets are doing and which need attention. Whether you have one agent or many, it provides a starting point without requiring you to open every agent’s reports individually. See the overall situation, then look more closely at the assets that need your attention. Agent Analysis — Coming Soon A new Analysis view will soon be added to each agent’s dashboard, explaining the current situation in plain language. Core agents will receive an overview. Extended agents will receive a fuller explanation, including suggestions on what to look at first. The goal is to help you understand what the monitoring results mean and where to begin investigating. Your charts and measurements will remain available whenever you want to examine the supporting details. A Fresh Look — Coming Soon It’s time to update the look of ISP Tracker. We’re working behind the scenes on a new dark theme and a more modern dashboard that brings these features together. The new design is already taking shape, and we’re excited about how it looks. So your hardware agent gets the gateway but your display agent does not. The agent is much more powerful than the display logic is. The display was not really meant to do any monitoring of its own but it ended up included because it seemed to work, at least in all the testing we had done. The display does not have anywhere near the capabilities of the agent, it's rudimentary, basic local monitoring only. That said, there is something about gateway detection that is too sensitive. It likely does find the gateway but something sets it off to alert that it cannot reach it. As I mentioned, we'll have to do some testing in the coming weeks to see if it's something we can resolve. At least I have one here that is doing the same thing which is a good lead to work from.
