    Hi,

There is a setting (Configure/Settings) that gives you control over how long outages should be to be shown but I'm not sure that is tied to notifications.

    Let me check into that.

The main issue I have is that I am getting too many email issues for small outages, the ISP is upgrading, for instance, then I got a 5-second downtime email.

My suggestion would be to add a parameter that will send email alerts after x minutes (user setting) of downtime, so this way we can still look at the dashboard for small outages but instead of having to reset the email every 2-3 days, We could get an email only for downtime that lasts more than 5 minutes.

In the "Configure Settings" you have the possibility to decide which minimum outage has to be used in the outages graph; for the moment we are not using this parameter to decide when to send an email for the related outage.

I can suggest such modification and see what happens

I like that suggestion. The only thing I would also suggest is that the setting be moved to perhaps Notifications so that it's clear the setting affects notifications with some info text also explaining what the setting means.

Note that even if this does get done, it's important to understand that the raw data will always show all of the data, regardless of the outage setting.

            Hi,

You will now find additional controls in the Notifications page.
Please try it and let us know if it's fine and if so, we'll close this question.

Hi I found something that is explaining why you didnt receive any email
Let me be sure of what I saw, if my investigation is correct you should receive some delayed messages of what was happening

Please confirm if you received the delayed messages since this will be a lead for me to fix it permanently

I got 2 of them but the 3rd one might be related to alerts getting disabled after the second emails

Agent 131310 has a notification setting for +1 seconds which is consistent with the 37 seconds
It is agent 131314 that was set to have a +5 minutes notification
