You no longer have to dig through charts and measurements to understand your monitored results, simply ask a question. ISP Tracker Answers checks your agent’s recorded data and explains what it finds in plain language.

We're testing this new feature in the ISP Tracker dashboard for Extended agents. We think it's one of the most important features we've ever added.

It's like having your own IT person explain what's happening with your internet connection and/or provider in plain language.

If your internet keeps disconnecting, your download speeds seem low, or you want to know what happened overnight, just ask. ISP Tracker Answers checks your selected agent's recorded data and explains what it finds, saving you the work of searching through charts and measurements yourself.

To try ISP Tracker Answers, you’ll need an ISP Tracker agent installed with Extended reports. Open that agent’s dashboard to ask questions about its reports.

Try questions like:

“Did my internet go down last night?”

“How were my download speeds yesterday?”

“Did any monitored hosts have problems?”

“Was the temperature below my configured limit?”

Include a day or time period when you can. Answers depend on which features you have enabled and what measurements are available for that agent. The charts and raw data are still there whenever you want to dig deeper.

This is an early version, and there's still plenty of work ahead. Some answers may be incomplete, many topics aren't covered yet, and the available data won't always tell us what caused a problem.

We'll keep expanding what ISP Tracker Answers can answer and improving how it understands your questions and explains the results. Your input will help us decide where to focus.

Please use Helpful / Not helpful, and leave a comment when an answer helps or when something is missing or doesn't make sense.

Give it a try, and tell us what you wanted to learn about your internet connection that it couldn't answer yet.
